Junior IT Support Engineer
Description

Working alongside our established Managed Service Support team in the UK and reporting to our Team Leader in Budapest, you will offer remote support to our varied client base.  You will build strong relations with our clients listing carefully to their needs and then taking a structured and systematic approach to problem solving.  We operate a ticketing system.

You will provide Support, Project Delivery and IT Strategy to our clients – a diverse bunch – who design incredible buildings, create compelling events, find hidden oil reserves, drive website sales, design branding and raise capital for global start-ups.

Working in tandem with our team in London to ensure that we have a seamless transition across time zones enabling us to serve our larger clients in the UK and Europe, you will start your shift at 1.00pm and will be joined by our Managed Services Team Leader and our team of Developers in our centrally located office in Kalvin ter.  Your shift will finish at 10.00pm.  We operate 2 shift systems – the first being 07.00 – 16.00 and you should be comfortable working either of these shifts to be determined by the Managed Services Team Leader.

Responsibilities

Build strong relations with our varied client base – mostly in London.
Listen carefully to the needs of our client base and then taking a structured and systematic approach to problem solving.
Document your approach in excellent written English to share with our Managed Service Suppport team in London.

Qualifications

Excellent experience in the following technologies:
Microsoft Windows Server with Experience of Active Directory,  DHCP
Microsoft Windows Exchange Server
Microsoft Windows 8,8 10 Admin Skills

Strong degree in Computing or Computer Science
Excellent spoken and written English when dealing with our customers, but also to document and explain your solutions to other team members.

Good experience in customer service.
Confident, friendly and outgoing personality.
Team focused, and able to communicate at all levels. Relishing a challenge,
Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and use them to best advantage.
